About a month after seeing Google pushing out stable Android 12 to its Pixel line of devices, Samsung is already pushing out its Android 12-based One UI 4 to eligible devices, starting with its flagship Galaxy S21 series of devices. So what about the other Samsung devices? Well, we’ve already seen the company’s Android 12 rollout plan that outlines when its eligible devices should expect to receive the update to One UI 4. In the rollout plan, the company’s foldable devices, including the Z Fold 3 5G, Z Flip 3 5G, Z Fold 2, and Z Flip 5G, are slated to bag the stable update sometime in December 2021. In line with that, we’re now seeing reports of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 bagging yet another Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta update, this time the Beta4. This update is naturally expected to iron out issues in previous Beta builds while building on the system stability ahead of the expected December release of Android 12 for this Galaxy Z Flip. How well this fair remains to be seen. Reports also have it that in addition to the system stability, the new system has been updated with the Material You UI design style of Android 12. It’s a little confusing, seeing as recently, we saw reports that Samsung might not exactly support the Material You theming engine by sticking to its own equivalent. Also worth noting is that users of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 might have to wait longer for this update as it is said to be under development, and you can catch more on that in our coverage here. We should know more as we go along, so stay tuned for more.
